blog1Welcome to the new website for the Museum at the Makah Cultural and Research Center. On your next visit to Neah Bay, put the Museum down as a place to visit on your adventure. The Museum is a great place to start so that you can learn about the Makah people and our traditions. It will give you context as you explore our beaches, trails and waters so you can see things the way our people do and have for thousands of years. We also offer classes and guided tours. Learn to carve or weave our traditional ways. Call ahead to make reservations. We are willing to bet that you will be pleasantly surprised and impressed at the quality of the presentation of the exhibits and history of the Makah people. Don’t forget to check out the gift shop while you are here. It is a lovely place to find souvenirs to remind you of your wonderful journey here on the Makah Reservation.
