Makah Museum Collection
The museum interprets and houses 300–500-year-old objects recovered from the Ozette Archaeological Site. Historic and replica pieces, photographs, basketry, canoes, and a full-sized longhouse help share the history and living culture of the Makah people.

Funding
Funding for the Makah Cultural and Research Center comes from federal grants, private foundations and corporations, museum admission, Museum Store sales, memberships, and community support. Approximately 4% of the operating budget is funded by the Makah Tribal Council.
